Oh yeah, new website, new contest! Visit my Contest page for all of the deets on how to take home your very own signed copy of my debut book, The Devil in Disguise.
I’m thrilled to announce that I will be writing an original short story for the German magazine, Love Letter. The piece will appear in their July issue and will feature–well, I haven’t quite figured that out yet. But it will be romantic and Regency, I can promise you that!
My father. My aunt. My grandmother. All three of these very important people died from pancreatic cancer. Familial, you think? Researchers do, which is why I recently enrolled in a study at the University of Washington led by Dr. Terry Brentnall, one of the country’s leading experts in the field. On Thursday, February 10th, I underwent an endoscopic ultrasound procedure in order to set a baseline for my pancreatic health. The beauty shots of my pancreas came back with flying colors–whew!–and I’ll go back in a year for another round.
We may not know everything about cancer, but let’s take advantage of the information that’s out there. If you or a friend have a history of familial cancer, don’t wait. Do something today. Join me in telling cancer to take a hike.
The Peninsula chapter of RWA invited me to speak on my experience as a debut author on Saturday, April 16th. There will be fun goodies, of course–to distract from my glowing red face!
I just received word that my workshop with Tessa Dare, Monica McCarty, and Christy Reece was accepted by RWA for the National conference in NYC. Dates are June 27 – July 2. I hope to see you there!
